BSides Newcastle is the weirdest InfoSec event out there. For our first event we held a 1 day event in a skate park and had a blast even though it was freezing. Last year we went virtual with a 2 day event with speakers from 4 continents. This year we go hybrid offering both the coverage of virtual events and the opportunity for live events again.
2021 CFP is now open, please submit all suggestions for talks and workshops on the link below. As we’re a hybrid confrence we are accepting both physical talks, virtual talks and workshops.
Rather than list requirements and specify a theme we have left this relatively open, from community interest and well-being all the way to demonstrations of your latest tools or advanced mathematical proofs on encryption, robots AI and why we all love our future overlords of humanity. We really like to keep an open view on submissions.
2020’s talks and workshops are available on our YouTube page.
Plan is for 2 tracks one physical and one virtual with a rookie section reserved on both tracks.
If you would like to deliver a talk or a workshop at BSidesNcl please use the following link and please submit via Papercall.io here.
